About Mobility Partnership Ireland

Mobility Partnership Ireland (MPI) is a coalition of leading companies operating in the shared transport sector, that aspire to provide leadership and solutions to help Ireland’s future mobility.

Membership is comprised of commercial companies who provide bike hire, vehicle rental, taxi services, bus services and payment solution services. It is MPI’s vision that Ireland develops as a global leader in shared sustainable mobility by placing the needs of transport users at the heart of transport policy, enabling innovation, promoting public health, and supporting climate action.

Bleeper is Ireland’s first station-less bike sharing scheme and currently has in excess of 750 bikes operating throughout Dublin. Our bikes are equipped with a small lock fixed above the back wheel of the bike. The smart lock controls usage of the bike by communicating with our custom build app, which can be downloaded from both Apple and Google App Stores. BleeperBike’s do not require custom built docking bays.

FREENOW is the Mobility Super App with the largest vehicle choice for consumers across Europe available in 9 markets and in over 150 cities. Users can access all types of mobility services within a single app including public transport services, taxis, private hire vehicles, car sharing, e-scooters, e-bikes, and e-mopeds. FREENOW aggregates numerous mobility brands with the ambition to make urban mobility more efficient and sustainable without adding new vehicles on the street

PAYZONE

Payzone is the leading provider of innovative payment solutions in Ireland, offering comprehensive and rapidly evolving solutions. For over 20 years, they have been central in delivering solutions to help consumers move away from cash. While Payzone may be best known for their unique network of nationwide retail stores, they are also central in providing online and mobile solutions for many of the country’s biggest companies. Payzone’s Parking Application has proven to be one of the great innovations for motorists over the past decade. To further improve and provide added value for consumers, Payzone intends to introduce a range of additional mobility services as part of its in-app offering. This will include connected services that aim to help consumers as they navigate daily interactions, and these can become instrumental in promoting sustainability.

YUKÕ

YUKÕ is Toyota Ireland’s Car Club service, established in 2016 and currently has 230 vehicles. All passenger vehicles on the YUKÕ fleet are hybrid, meaning members drive in zero-emissions mode up to 62% of the time. With YUKÕ there’s a high-tech car available, parked on-street in Dublin whenever needed. Members can book a YUKÕ by the hour, day or week, with fuel & insurance included. It is essentially PAYG driving. Members simply download the app, book & drive!

AIRCOACH

Aircoach is Ireland’s leading private bus and coach operator and provides a range of high frequency, quality scheduled coach services to and from Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport. We operate six key services connecting Dublin Airport with Dublin City Centre and its suburbs, as well as non-stop express services connecting Dublin Airport with both Cork, Belfast, and Galway. Aircoach is a subsidiary of First Group plc which is one of Ireland and the UK’s, largest surface transportation companies. During the last year around 1.4 million people per day relied on First Group to get to work, to school or college, to visit family and friends and much more.

ENTERPRISE

Enterprise Holdings is the world’s largest private mobility provider, operating more than 2 million shared assets across the globe. Since 1994, Enterprise’s European activities have expanded rapidly, with over 170,000 vehicles across company-owned operations in France, Germany, Ireland, Spain and United Kingdom. In Ireland, Enterprise provides vehicles on demand via Enterprise Rent-a-Car and employs over 200 people in 25 branches across the country.

MOBY

MOBY is an innovative Irish start-up company focused on developing and bringing to market a range of electric mobility solutions for cities and individuals. Established by Thomas O’Connell, former founder and CEO of Yvolution and supported by Enterprise Ireland through the High Potential Start-Up (HPSU9) Companies initiative. MOBY aims to capitalise on the growth and potential of the electric rideable market.

GOCAR

GoCar is Ireland’s first car sharing company, established in 2008. GoCar is part of Europcar Mobility Group, a global leader in mobility services. GoCar provides members with access to cars and vans all across Ireland. Vehicles can be reserved and unlocked, all from your smartphone. With rentals from as short as 30 minutes GoCar is the ideal alternative to owning a car, or equally ideal for the SME to save on leasing vehicles.
